My education began in a darkroom in a military academy in South Georgia. I studied for almost a decade before opening my studio in Detroit.

My camera has taken me to the Deep South to the hills of Pakistan, from the South of France to rural villages in Germany, from churches and chapels to one of the most dangerous border crosings in the world. Photography is a way for me to understand life and love, through reflections of myself.
